2. Click Shutdown in the Actions pane.

3. Click Shutdown Guest to confirm.

4. Verify that the status of the virtual machine is changed to shutdown/detached

after the job completes.

After the job finishes, the virtual machine is listed under Shutdown Guests of the

server pool and the Connect Network action is enabled in the Actions pane.

Starting a Virtual Machine

You can start a virtual machine in shutdown/detached status. When starting a virtual

machine you can select the server pool and the Oracle VM Server on which to run the

virtual machine.

In this example, you start a virtual machine in the same server pool, OVMServerPool.
